Training
Basic obedience is a pre-requisite to any formal training, be it basic or advanced. Dogs that are not under control are a nuisance at home and dangerous in the field. Most dog owners send their dogs off for training because they have lost control. Others seek professional training because they lack the knowledge or perhaps the time. At Southland Kennels, a sound fundamental training concept achieves this goal. No more than 4 dogs are accepted at one time to insure they receive close personal attention. The two week accelerated course has become very popular. Why continue to have your dog "walking you" instead of at your side at heel? Does your dog seem to ignore the "Come" command? This two week program will successfully solve both of these problems and more. The cost is $700 ($50 per day), which includes two training sessions plus board. If you have a particular training problem and don't want to leave your dog for the two weeks, a private one on one training session with myself, you and your dog can also be arranged. The fee is $75 per hour. |
