"Joe"
“Joe” was the runt out of a litter of 11 and as you can see, he turned out to be a handsome young man, weighing about 90 lbs. He tries extremely hard to please and is very calm natured dog but with a strong desire to retrieve. His sire is GMHR, HRCH Southland Bonnie Blue Belle, MH, a son of my beloved GMHR Southland Leroy Brown. Blu is one of the only tri-titled hunt test dogs in the country. Joe is a well balanced hunting dog and attained his UKC Hunting Retriever (HR). Joe’s dam is Clubmead’s Fine China whose heritage stems from such well known dogs a NAFC-CNAFC-FC Ebonstar Lean Mack and FC-AFC Candlewood’s M.D. Houston.

"Dusty"
“Dusty” has proven to be a wonderful addition to Southland’s breeding program. She is a very athletic, 65 lb. black female. Her pedigree is extremely nice. Her sire is the famous FC-AFC Teddy’s Ebonstar James, who had 92 all age points at the age of 6 and was the youngest dog at the 2000 National Amateur Field Trial and a two time National Amateur finalist. Her Dam’s sire is a chocolate who is a littermate to FC-AFC Tater, the only FC-AFC chocolate female.

I am very excited about this upcoming litter. With both parents having such strong field pedigrees, Dusty should produce puppies with an exceptional drive and desire to retrieve. Both parents are affectionate and have good temperaments and the pups should make excellent working dogs as well as fine family companions. This litter will be ready to go the weekend of July 17th. The cost is $1300.
