"Rocky"
“Rocky” is a handsome 85 lb. Fox Red Yellow. He is a son of GMHR Southland Leroy Brown. Rocky resides at Hearland Kennel outside of Winchester, VA. He has a wonderful temperament and gets along well with all other dogs and people. His pups are known for their strong sense of smell, something that is highly regarded in the field.
OFA Hips (Excellent), OFA Elbows (Clear), CERF (Clear). He is an EIC Carrier, but with Hokie being Clear, that will not cause a problem in the pups.
"Hokie"
“Hokie” is a new addition to my breeding program. She is a big dog weighing about 80 lbs. Hokie is out of my HR Southland Gentleman Joe and Southland Briar of Walnut Grove, a daughter of my beloved “Leroy”. She was the only Fox Red in her litter and I decided to keep her. She is very special and was raised as a house dog. Her calm demeanor, coupled with her driving desire to retrieve make her the “perfect companion”.
OFA Elbows (Normal), CERF (Clear), EIC and CNM (Clear).
Combining Rocky and Hokie’s strong field lines, this breeding should produce excellent puppies for field and/or family companions. Being a line breeding on GMHR Southland Leroy Brown and thus FC-AFC-MHR Westwind’s Bold Tiger, makes it the ultimate breeding. I expect mostly Fox Red’s out of this yellow breeding, as both parents are Fox Red. The litter is due to whelp December 7th and will be ready to go to their new homes the weekend of January 26th . The cost is $1500.
