"Leroy's" Pedigree
|
"Leroy" is a 90 lb. Chocolate male (yellow-factored) out of a
predominantly black pedigree. There are no other chocolate dogs in a five generation
pedigree on either the sire or the dams side, only black and yellow. Leroy is a very well bred hunting retriever with an abundance of drive and desire,
yet extremely mild-mannered.
Leroy qualified as a member of the 1997 & 1999 Richard A. Wolters-NAHRA Invitational teams.
His sire is the renowned FC-AFC-MHR Westwind's Bold Tiger. "Tiger" was the 1984 National Derby Champion and one of the AKC all time high scoring dogs.
Leroy's dam is Sourdough's Wegy, whose excellent field heritage goes back to the preeminent FC-AFC Air Express.
Leroy shows a great deal of intelligence and has proven to be a competent
hunting partner and loyal companion. He is an asset to his breed and to Southland
Kennels.
